Why We Never Ask for Your DVSA Login (and Why It Matters)

If any driving-test service asks you to hand over login details so it can act on your account, that's the moment to close the tab. Here's why — and why we deliberately never ask.

There isn't really a “login” to give

The DVSA booking page doesn't use a username and password like a normal account. To manage your test you enter two things yourself: your driving licence number and your test reference number. Any service asking for “your login so we can book for you” is asking to act on your booking — which only you are allowed to do since 12 May 2026.

Why handing it over is dangerous

A test booked or changed by someone else can be cancelled by the DVSA with no refund, and repeated third-party activity can get your online access suspended. You could lose both your slot and your fee.

How we work instead

We never need your booking credentials, because we never touch your booking. We watch publicly visible availability and send you a direct link; you sign in with your own details and book it. Simple, and completely within the rules.

Rule of thumb: keep your licence and reference numbers to yourself. A legitimate alert service never needs them.
